The Final Decision on Funding Allocation at the Riga City Council | Positivus Festival Lineup and Comedy Program

The final decision on the allocation of funding must be made at the meeting of the Riga City Council.

​The festival will take place in Riga for the second summer. Before that, it took place in Salacgrīva for several years.

As reported, the “Positivus” festival will take place in Lucavsala on July 14 and 15.

British singer Sam Smith will be one of the main artists of the festival. Estonian rapper “Tommy Cash”, group “alt-J”, DJ “Metro Boomin”, hip-hop duo “Earthgang”, domestic hip-hop star Gustavo and other musicians will also perform at the festival.

For the first time at the festival, in addition to music, it will be possible to enjoy comedy in cooperation with the comedy association “Comedy Latvia”. The festival program will be supplemented with stand-up comedy, improvisational theater and rap improvisation.
