According to the publishers, the concert film reflects the musician’s sold-out concert tour in 2017 and 2018, in which 156 concerts took place and a total of 2.3 million people attended them. The film and recording include the classic songs “The Dark Side of the Moon”, “The Wall, Animals”, “Wish You Were Here”, and Waters’ latest album “Is This The Life We Really Want?” (2017) material.
The film is directed by the world’s most popular and acclaimed Youtube star Sean Evans and Roger Waters himself. According to the publishers, the film, using the latest technologies and innovations, makes the presence feel as if the viewer is in the concert itself.
“The film captures Waters ‘legendary performances, during which the musician takes his listener on an emotionally charged and at the same time provocative journey. The film also depicts Waters’ close relationship with his fans – both young and those who have been with the artist for many years,” writes Sony Music “representatives.
We remind you that one of the members of the group “Pink Floyd” Rogers Waters visited Latvia with his impressive show program “Us + Them”. The concert “Arena Riga” took place in August 2018.
