Again with Jeff Fowler behind the cameras, Sonic 3: The Movie lands in cinemas in Spain on December 25, 2024.
This Christmas the blue hedgehog is preparing for his return to cinemas with Sonic 3: The Moviethe new installment based on the famous saga of video games from Sega.
Directed once again by Jeff Fowlerthe plot of the movie will follow Sonic, Tails and Knuckles dealing with a new threat: Shadow (whose voice puts Keanu Reeves), a dark hedgehog fruit of a project secretly prepared by the government for 50 years.
But, due to the tremendous power that the villain gives off, Neither the blue hedgehog nor his strong companions are able to face himso they have no choice but to resort to the help of their archenemy, the Doctor Robotnikagain played by Jim Carrey.

The main cast of Sonic 3: The Movie meets in the new official poster
In order to continue whetting fans’ mouths, Paramount Pictures has released a new official poster Sonic 3: The Movie with the main characters of this new installment.
Apart from the leading trio formed by Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, we also have Shadow and Doctor Robotnik on the poster. But we also have the presence of another important character: Gerald Robotnikthe grandfather of Sonic’s archenemy who is also played by Jim Carrey. You can take a look at the poster a little below.
Although not many details of the plot have been revealed, from what is seen in the trailer it is clear that it will almost closely follow the story told in the video games, where Shadow was the product of the creation of Gerald Robotnik.

The scientist brought the hedgehog aboard Space Colony ARK to help develop a cure for a disease suffered by his granddaughter, Maria Robotnik.and Shadow soon became his inseparable companion.
