The Film Nights Cottbus have started their second week! The open-air event, which attracts film enthusiasts from all over the region, was already convincing in the first week of the event with a diverse selection of films. Now there are other highlights that visitors can look forward to in the midst of the illuminated scenery.
Varied program in the open air
The event area in the Spreeauenpark in Cottbus, which will be the cinematic meeting point until August 6th, has already proved to be a great backdrop for the screenings in the first week. Under the open sky, with the magic of the starry sky in the background, the open-air cinema offers a very special atmosphere, which is further enhanced by the varied film program.
Yesterday the mystery love film “The Crayfish Singing” was already convincing, while tonight the “Radeberger Filmnacht” with the comedy “Der Nachname” flickers across the screen. And of course you can watch cool cinema films again at the weekend in the beautiful open-air ambience of the Cottbus Spreeauenpark: The family cinema with films for the little cinema fans (“The School of Magical Animals 2” on Saturday, “How to Train Your Dragon” on Sunday) starts at 4 p.m. The main films (“Simply something nice” on Saturday, “Caveman” on Sunday) follow daily at 9:30 p.m.
On Monday the drama “When will it finally be like it never was” continues, while on Tuesday you can laugh at “Champions”. On Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. CMT will present “Oskar’s Dress”. Popcorn, drinks and other snacks round off the special cinema experience.
Tickets are available online in advance at www.cottbus.filmnaechte.de or directly in the CottbusService. The main entrance and the box office are located on the city ring road. The entrance at the zoo cash desk can also be used.
