The film itself had to be shelved due to Parvathy’s delivery: Lal Jose
Director Lal Jose started his film career as an assistant to director Kamal. Lal Jose has assisted Kamal the most times. But Lal Jose is now saying that he has worked with another director as well. The director is sharing some of the interesting incidents that happened on Safari TV in the program ‘History through Me’.
Lal Jose said that he was supposed to start shooting for a film starring Jayaram, but due to Parvathy’s delivery, he had to postpone that film and start another film. He also said that it was because Jayaram could not stay away from Ernakulam due to some inconveniences.
Nisar Abdul Khader said that he is going to direct the film himself. The shooting is in Aluva and the shoot will start the next day. While we all work with Kamal sir, KK Haridas is a person who works with many directors. He was the associate of that film.
Meanwhile, the shooting of the movie Janam is also going on. Haridas had to work as an associate of that film. Likewise, he had to go with Malak. Haridas said that if Lalu is free, I can join him in three to four days. So I landed in Aluva with Nisarika.
But it was not the planned film. Then they planned another film to be shot instead of that film. A week before the start of the shoot, Parvathy was admitted to a hospital in Ernakulam for her first delivery. It happened suddenly. That is why Jayaramettan cannot stay away from Ernakulam area.
Only the originally planned film can be shot in Tirur. Nizarka is the one who sees everything as trivial. Hadn’t he told a story earlier about Madhavi, Jayarametan liked that story and then he said that he could do it. The screenwriter was told about it a week and a half ago. But Nizarika had no qualms.
I looked at the scenes and charted 35 days to see Nisarika. Nizarika clipped the three pages for the three days that I had charted. On the first day, Jayarametan should have left early. So only one scene was shot. But we shot nine scenes on the second day. To be honest, I lost my eye,’ said Lal Jose.
