The Figure of a Truck Driver in a Deadly Accident in Balikpapan, Becomes a Suspect until His Confession Before the Collision

TRIBUNNEWS.COM – The deadly accident occurred at the Simpang Rapak derivative, Kecamatan Balikpapan North, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan on Friday (21/1/2022).

Based on the latest data from Dirlantas East Kalimantan Police, Kombes Sony Irawan, the fatal accident resulted in the death of four people.

Meanwhile, there is one critical person, three people with serious injuries, and 26 people with minor injuries.

“Currently the number of victims is known, namely 4 people died, 1 person is critical, 3 people are seriously injured, and 26 people are slightly injured,” said Sony Irawan.

The accident which occurred at 06.20 WITA involved a tronton truck loaded with six cars and 14 motorbikes.

The driver of the tronton truck has now been named a suspect and is undergoing investigation.
