PAPUA, KOMPAS.TV – Two members of the armed criminal group (KKB) led by Lekagak Telenggen were declared dead during a shootout with TNI and Polri officers.
It is known that the shootout between the TNI-Polri and KKB took place in Wuloni Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Papua on Thursday (13/5/2021).

Pangdam XVII / Cenderawasih, Maj. Gen. Ignatius Yogo Triyono, said that from the TNI element, his party had deployed joint forces in this time of armed contact.
These included soldiers from the Special Forces Command or Kopassus. Then Kostrad and Infantry Battalion 500 / R.
“The troops that were in the firefight were a combination of the TNI (Kopassus, Kostrad and Yonif 500 / R),” said Maj. Gen. Yogo, as quoted from Kompas.com on Friday, (14/5/2021).
