Couples would dance cha-chu, rumba and quikstep to tunes from famous musicals. But the first show was by the singer Kateřina Maria Fialová and her colleague Christian Pekar, who performed a piece from the musical The Greatest Showman with the dancers. The dancers then joined the competing couples.

The first competition number was the actress and singer Lucie Vondráčková and Lukáš Bartuňek’s cha-cha to the song from the Moulin Rouge musical Lady Marmalade. Marek Eben recalled that Vondráčková hosted the program Marmeláda as a child. The jury praised the dance. “Lucie you just keep getting better and better,” said Richard Genzer. It gave the pair eight with Tatiana Drexler, Jan Tománek seven.
Jana Paulová and Robin Ondráček
Actress Jana Paulová and Robin Ondráček danced the quik step to a tune from the musical Chicago. “You look smart, you look attractive, you can play it until you can almost see yourself tripping over Robin’s feet,” Drexler laughed. “He was a little nervous today,” Tománek said. According to Genzer, Jana’s legs got sclerosis, but from the waist up Jana was happy. “I went up a little bit today, but you can handle it,” laughed Paul. Jen Drexler took seven to the dance, Genzer and Tománek six.
Martina Ptáčková and Dominik Vodička
Martina Ptáčková and Dominik Vodička danced the rumba to a song from the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. According to Martina, dancing is much more complicated than wrestling. “With him, I know I have to beat my opponent, here I don’t know anything,” she laughed. “I’m satisfied, I feel with Martina that every round more relaxed,” suggested his dancer Dominik Vodička.
“You don’t give up, you see you’re a fighter and that’s good. Keep fighting,” said Tománek. “You get better and Dominik does good choreography that he can cover well,” said Drexler. The jury agreed and picked up six three times.
Marta Dancingerova and Martin Pragr
The second cha-cha in the song from Muzikál ze změna belonged to the actor Marta Dancingerová and Martin Prágro. Marek Eben was afraid that the writing on Marty’s jersey, which had the letters EHS, meant that Eben had gone wrong. However, the actress did not confirm this to him, because she herself did not know what the sign meant. The jury was enthusiastic about the dance. “Tatiana’s class teacher is very happy, it was great,” said Drexler. And for the first time, she drew nines three times.
Patrik Hartl and Tereza Pruková
To the song from the musical Hello, Dolly! writer Patrik Hartl and Tereza Pruková performed a quikstep dance. “You never lose your mind, do you?” Eben asked Hartl after the dance. “Not here, he answered,” answered Hartl. And when he was asked which song he would choose if he ran for president, he replied that he might not have to be too cheerful. In the rush to get elected to the Castle, the whole conversation turned to dancing. “I think you have a good chance to go far in this tournament because people love you,” Tatiana Drexler said of her tournament prospects. The jury agreed and gave three seven.
Filip Blažek and Adriana Mašková
Actor Filip Blažek and Adriana Mašková danced rumba to a song from the musical Rent. “There are dances that are perfect and you don’t like them, and then there are dances that aren’t perfect, but you really like them. And I liked your dancing, although there wasn’t much rumba in it,” said Tománek. Genzer agreed with this as well. “You look very natural in everything you do. I think that there was enough rumba, but sometimes you looked for yourself in music,” said Drexler, on the other hand. And again they voted unanimously when they raised the seven three times.
Oskar Hes and Kateřina Bartuněk Hrstková
The end of the evening was provided by actor Oskar Hes and Kateřina Bartuněk Hrstková, who performed a quikstep dance to a song from the musical Varieté. “You’d be destined for a musical,” said Eben. “Well, besides that, I miss singing,” Hes said.
“I’m glad you’re a good actor, a good dancer, if you were a good singer, I’d be mad,” said Genzer. “Your performance is flawless, it’s fifteen points, but there were small mistakes in the quick step,” said Tománek. “We have high standards for you,” explained Drexler, who scored the highest and only two tenths of the night. And that from Genzer and Drexler. Tomanek gave eight.
