The small Fiat Scudo van was discontinued in 2016, the MPV Fiat Ulysse two years earlier. But now they will return as clones of Opel, Peugeot, Citroën and Toyota vans on the EMP2 platform, the Stellantis Group, which includes these brands except Toyota, said in a press release.

The Scudo will be, as before, a box and combined van, the Ulysse will basically be a personal version of it, as is the case with, for example, Opel Vivaro and sister Zafira Life. They will be available with diesel engines and electric propulsion.

For the time being, the carmaker Fiat keeps the technical data to itself, but we can assume that they will mirror the offer of siblings. In the case of an electric drive, this means a battery with a capacity of 50 or 75 kWh and an electric motor with an output of 136 hp, in the case of a conventional drive, expect a 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter turbodiesel from 100 to 180 hp and a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.

In the same way, there is no price list or proper photos in the world yet. But we know that the scudo will be available at the turn of this year and next, ulysse in the first quarter of 2022. They will be produced in a factory in northern Hordai, France.
