The ‘2024 Hantangang Garden Festa’ held at the Hantangang River Ecological Landscape Complex in Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do is being held successfully.
This event, which began on September 7 with the opening of Korea’s longest Y-shaped suspension bridge, has welcomed more than 200,000 visitors. Accordingly, due to its high popularity, it was decided to extend the schedule until October 31.
The 200,000㎡ garden-type festival space created on the lava plateau of the Hantangang River is full of various flowers that color the autumn scenery.

In addition to the fall flower garden with cosmos, zinnia, gaura, and silver grass, there are gardens decorated with various themes, such as the rose garden, topiary garden, and the mysterious silver grass maze garden.

In addition, the 410m Y-shaped suspension bridge, the longest in Korea, located above the Hantangang River Gorge, offers a panoramic view of the surrounding fall foliage and canyon, making it especially popular with senior tourists.
The suspension bridge boasts its specialness as it was selected as a candidate in the structural innovation category by the International Association of Bridge and Structural Engineers (IABSE).

Electric bicycles cost 30,000 won per hour for general tourists (15,000 won exchanged for Pocheon gift certificates), and are provided at half price to Pocheon citizens.
