With the “Jedermann” premiere on Saturday and the festival opening party on Sunday, the weekend provides a first foretaste of this year’s Salzburg Festival. Until August 31, culture enthusiasts can expect 168 festival performances and 62 performances from the youth program. 209,071 cards were issued this year, around half of which cost between five and 105 euros, the most expensive cards are available for 445 euros.
