Switzerland received by far the most vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer. For 2023, the BAG ordered 3.5 million vaccine doses from them. Initially, the BAG wanted to order 14 million doses. However, Parliament called the Federal Office back in the summer session and demanded that the federal government renegotiate the contracts. At the beginning of July, the Office concluded the negotiations.
