William Ernesto Barrientos, son of former opposition lawmaker William Barrientos, was arrested in the city of Kissimmee in Florida, United States, by FBI officials.
The young man in question, son of the former Zulian deputy leader of the Un Nuevo Tiempo party, is allegedly accused of cloning cards, falsifying documents, theft of car catalysts and selling delivery accounts.

The arrest was recorded and broadcast on social networks. In the video, the subject, William Ernesto Barrientos, is seen leaving a house in shorts and turning himself over to the FBI officials who had surrounded the house.
The information was confirmed to the media by sources close to the family.
The Osceola County Correctional Facility in Florida reported that William Ernesto Barrientos’s mother-in-law, Grisoris Aponte Andara, was arrested on Friday, November 4, without providing further details.
Similarly, the media claims that the wife of Barrientos’ son, Grisoris de Barrientos, left a message in a story on her Instagram account: “Don’t believe anything you see on the networks. Any information is false. We look good together. Att: Barrientos family ”.
So far, the deputy from Un Nuevo Tiempo has not spoken or stated about the arrest of his son by FBI agents in the United States.
