FBI Director, Christopher Wraysaid Tuesday that the agency believes that the coronavirus pandemic covid-19 was “most likely” caused by an incident in a laboratory of Wuhan, China.

“The FBI has for some time said that the origins of the pandemic are most likely a potential laboratory incident in Wuhan,” Wray said in an interview with Fox News.

A report revealed this week that the United States Department of Energy had determined that a leak from a Chinese laboratory would have been the cause of the covid-19 outbreak.

In the interview, Wray accused the Chinese government of trying to stop US efforts to investigate the causes of the pandemic. “The Chinese government … has done everything possible to try to impede and obfuscate the work here, the work that we are doing, the work that our government and allies are doing,” Wray said.
