The legendary Yankee rapper Fatman Scoop died on Friday after suffering a seizure in the middle of his gig at the age of 53. The artist collapsed on stage during his performance in Hamden, Connecticut, and nothing could be done. The family announced the death of the rapper, but did not give a more detailed cause of death.

According to the representative, the rapper had not suffered from health concerns before his fatal gig, but lived a healthy life and consumed vegetables and fruits daily.
