Birds, lizards, plants … more than a thousand species have been found on the Morne Cabri au Lamentin site for several years.

In 2013, Martinican and Cuban scientists had recorded over three weeks the different species of flora and fauna that live in this space.

(Re) see the report by Franck Zozor and Thierry Sokkan.

This research was the subject of a free book, written in Spanish and French.

The book has a lot of photos, so it’s an opportunity to promote the species that we find in our territory and that few people know.

And then it will be used to educate children and adults as well because beyond knowing that there is such and such a place, it also makes it possible to make recommendations to protect the ecosystem.
