The father of the CSKA-Sofia football player Georgi Yomov went to the gas station in Sofia with two pistols, where he shot two men who attacked his sons. The father appeared on Thursday at 3 pm in the 16th hall of the Sofia District Court. It turned out that on Wednesday he attacked his detention for 72 hours and the court released him. The state prosecution demanded that Tsetsko Yomov be sent to custody and explained that he went with a weapon – 2 legal pistols – to fight himself. His lawyer, Mariana Todorova, explained that her client had been summoned by her sons. They told him that

However, according to the prosecutor’s office, when Tsetsko Yomov arrived at the gas station, the conflict had subsided and there was no danger for him and his sons. This did not prevent the man from starting a new quarrel. He showed his pistol to the other company and threatened Ivan Petrov with the words “I will blow your head off”. He then shot at him and Mario Valchev, and then fled, prosecutor Mima Kutzkova explained.
The police were looking for Yomov before he voluntarily surrendered to the SDVR. Therefore, according to the court, there is a danger that he will abscond from justice. The magistrates pointed out that the man did not behave like a man who repulsed an attack. The reason was that he did not try to help those shot by him and did not stay with his sons, whom he claimed to protect.
“Although unconvicted, Tsetsko Yomov is a person with an increased degree of public danger. He is impulsive, first-rate and unaware of his actions, “the magistrates said, leaving Yomov in custody. They explained that if released, he could commit a new crime.
It also became clear in the courtroom that his two sons had obtained medical certificates that they had been beaten by the other company. It turned out that Georgi Yomov was on the spot. On Wednesday, he denied being present at the conflict and explained to BTV that his jeep was there because he gave it to his brother. The footballer was also the first detainee in the case. It was he who pointed out to the Ministry of Interior that his father had shot him. Due to his detention, the footballer’s boyfriend – the folk singer Aria – arrived at the place of the shooting. She went to get her friend’s car.

They had known Yomovs for a long time and had a conflict with them. They met at the gas station after insulting the footballer on the Internet on Sunday night. The reason was the lost for his CSKA-Sofia final for the Bulgarian Cup by “Levski”. Yomov was the best player of the army in the match. The other company denied insulting the wing and explained that they had had a domestic conflict with his family for years.
This is not the first scandal with Yomov. Years ago, he was driving a forklift at Frankfurt Airport, insulting the Germans. Even his football career has been filled with controversial moments. The 24-year-old winger is the grandson of Levski legend Todor Barzov. The teenager is on the “blues”. He left them with a scandal and paid BGN 37,000 to redeem his rights.
