“The Farm” -Leif: – – People asked if I was crazy

Leif Haugo Stavenjord did well to put it mildly as one of the participants in “The Farm” in 2019.

The climax was reached when he sabotaged the weekly mission by pouring turpentine, a form of poison, over parts of the food warehouse, which made another participant in particular, Vivan Kvarven, light all the plugs.

Kvarven accused Stavenjord of attempted murder. Even he thought he had informed the TV production about the incident, and that no life was in danger.

– A lot of fuss

During the program’s final party in December 2019, the two ended up in mouth surgery once again. In an interview with VGTV Stavenjord was again accused of attempted murder, while he himself went on the counterattack and threatened to sue Kvarven.

Afterwards it became completely quiet.

– How are you now, Leif?

– I’m perfectly fine, me. But there are many people who still tell me that they have seen me before. I just answer that they must aim at my brother. But I say that just for fun, he says with a smile to Dagbladet

– You got to drive in 2019?

– Yes, there was a lot of chaos. Really. I was reasonably bored afterwards. People asked if I was crazy, but then I just answered that I was myself. But the wife and kids thought it was a lot of hassle.

– Got death threats

At the end of June, Dagbladet wrote that Kjetil Nørstebø, who lost the “Farmen” final in 2018 and is accused of winning Tonje Frøystad Garvik for having cheated to victory, became death threat after the riot.

He is not alone.

– I got some death threats I and. But I never bothered to comment or respond. I also received messages from hidden numbers. It was a guy and a lady who made a lot of noise, but one in the production is supposed to have checked them and found out that they were regulars in the “Farm” context, says Leif Haugo Stavenjord.

– Did you get scared?

– No, no, no, he insists.

He continues:

– Some say that they have been poorly taken care of by the channel afterwards, but I always had contact with a psychologist in the production who was very good. He called and checked on me all the time. It would have been worse if I had had to stand alone in all the shit that came. Participant manager and producer should also have praised how they lined up.

– Must have balls

The ex- “Farmen” participant asks others to be aware of what they are involved in before they choose to expose themselves in a TV program with so many viewers.

– Many people have to have ice in their stomachs and balls to cope with it. Some people can probably get a “caramel” if they are not aware of what they are embarking on.

He tells Dagbladet that he quickly chose to drop a planned trial against Vivian Kvarven just over a year and a half ago.

– I simply could not bear to grab it, and leave it dead. In consultation with others.

– Have you had contact with Vivian afterwards?

– No I have not. So we never got the upper hand, Leif Haugo Stavenjord tells Dagbladet.

Dagbladet has been in contact with Vivian Kvarven, who has been presented with the statements from her ex- “Farmen” competitor. At the same time, she confirms that she did not have any more contact with Stavenjord after the Farmen dispute at the time.

– If I meet him again, I’ll say hello. In the heat of battle, you can do things you do not mean. I have no grudge against Leif today. I like to have a coffee with him one day, she says with a smile to Dagbladet.
