BRATISLAVA. The woman, who caused a mass crash in the opening stage of the 108th annual Tour de France, was arrested by the police.
According to RTL and witness statements, the wanted person was identified in the town of Landerneau and subsequently taken into custody by police.
On Saturday, the organizers of the Tour de France announced an attempt to find a person whose banner made of cardboard caused the fall of Tony Martin and then the entire peloton.

“We are suing her. It’s so that the minority doing such things doesn’t ruin the whole show,” said Pierr-Yves Thouault, deputy director of the prestigious event.

“She is accused of being injured by negligence and fleeing the crime scene. She faces up to three months in prison and a fine of 15,000 euros. In addition, she may face damages actions,” the DPA reports.
