Tashvi approached the protesters wearing a shirt with a Hebrew inscription, and asked them about the meaning of the slogan. That is, which river or sea is it about, and how to say – the demonstrators had no clue what it was about. “The river is not completely safe, but we are talking about the Red Sea,” said one of the demonstrators. “The river of Gaza,” said another. There is no doubt that this is not particularly surprising, since many demonstrators are not at all sure what the war is about, or who the Palestinians are.
