At the age of 50, the United States hip-hop artist DMX, or real name Earl Simons, died over the weekend.
The world-famous artist, who also visited Latvia, overdosed on drugs and was taken to hospital. A few days later, his life was extinguished.
A man has been struggling with drug addiction since he was a teenager. He was known not only in the United States, but throughout the world. He stood out with his deep, hollow voice and gloomy, even violent lyrics.
DMX became the star of hip-hop music in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
