The famous “old man” of TV weather news Māris Grigalis openly tells what kind of people in Latvia he considers “shallow” (video)

Māris Grigalis is one of the most famous people in Latvia – he plays music, he is a DJ, and hosts events, but people know him as the “old man” of weather news, who tells the weather on TV screens.

This year, on August 31, the legendary Latvian group “Jumprava” held a fantastic concert at Mežapark’s Big Stage, which gathered thousands of spectators and turned into a very emotional event. However, before the “Jumprava” musicians stepped on the big stage, none other than Māris Grigalis took care of “warming up” the audience.

However, a few days later the magazine “Kas Jauns” released the latest issue, where a full opening talked not about what Mara’s performance was like, but that there is hair on the arms. Now Grigalis talks about it openly in the TV3 talk show “Zilonis studija”.

He believes as follows:

It never occurred to me that one day in my life someone could talk about my armpits… My parents were amazed at how far we had gone… I thought​​​​ it is very shallow and it shows how shallow was the person who wrote this article and then published it in the “countries” – this person did not see my performance on the Mežaparka Platform, except … the tools i have

I also appreciate and find the people who talked about my tools after this article came out – how much hair is in my tools. Maybe people have nothing else to do.

Now Maris talks openly about these topics, but the host “Elephants in the studio” wants to know, has it ever been like this that he can be so open about the things that that affects him?

Those who remember the Soviet times and their “system” – I was eleven years old and hair was growing on my legs. And this Soviet system had limited everything so far and I thought my leg hair was different from other guys’ legs.

And then I tried to get rid of those feathers at home… Because everyone had the same sneakers and no feathers on their feet. Today we are free. During the Soviet era, everyone ate the same porridge and walked in the same sneakers.
