The Komety goalkeeper shone especially during Lantaš’s solo and nine seconds before the end he almost miraculously neutralized Roman’s tutu with a catcher. “I was a little lucky with that. I tried to throw my hand as fast as possible into the space where I expected the flying puck. It worked,” described Furch, who accompanied the famous intervention with a winning gesture. “There were emotions in me. I needed to let them out a little,” he smiled.
He tried to stay calm during Lantashi’s raid. “I didn’t want to make the first move. Our defender attacked him from behind, so he was not in an easy situation. I managed it,” Furcha was pleased.
Kometa will go to Boleslav in a comfortable situation. A single victory is enough for her to progress. “We’ve won twice at home, which is fantastic.
