The financier Emil Harsev confirmed the news that he is the buyer of the luxury armored apartment of fugitive banker Tsvatan Vassilev in the center of Sofia. The magnificent apartment with panoramic windows is located at 10 Aksakov Street, above the Crystal Garden.
Harsev clarified that Vassilev is not a party to the deal, but bought the property because he has someone to rent it to.
The financier’s advice is to buy real estate if it is clear how the investment will return. “If the property is empty, you subscribe for expenses,” he explained in “This Sunday” on bTV.
“It would be frivolous to predict when Europe will emerge from the economic crisis, without it being clear how long there will be restrictions. There is talk of June, September, 3 to 5 years,” Harsev said on the show.
Asked whether Europe would recover faster than after the wars of the last century, the financier reminded that now there are no destroyed cities, roads, ports and airports, and in this sense, recovery must be faster.
Regarding the money from Brussels to deal with the COVID crisis – 390 billion euros, he commented that it is not enough and gave an example with the United States, which will set aside nearly 2 trillion dollars.
