The famous American metal band Rage Against the Machine is canceling its long-awaited European and UK tour. Apart from huge European festivals, he will not appear in Prague either. It’s all due to the injury of singer Zack de la Rocha, who hurt himself at a concert in Chicago in July.
Sad news for Czech fans of Rage Against the Machine. The American metal band is canceling its long-planned tour, which has already been postponed once. They won’t even show up in Prague, where they were supposed to end the September part of the tour.
The quartet, who became famous for example with the song Killing in the Name, will play their last concert in the American series of performances, as they announced on their facebook profile. Fans will be refunded for missed shows. Their price in the capital ranged between 1,950 and 2,560 crowns.
The cancellation of the tour is due to an injury to the band’s frontman Zack de la Rocha. “Zack needs to return home to rest and rehabilitate,” the group said in a statement. According to the website TMZ He injured himself during a concert in Chicago, when he began to limp after four songs.
The group Rage Against the Machine was formed in 1991 in Los Angeles, USA. However, it disbanded after nine years of operation before reuniting in 2007. That only lasted four years. But from November 1, 2019, the four got back together.
