A few days ago, shooting of the spy drama “Berlin Heat” began in St. Petersburg. The historical picture will tell about the creation of the atomic bomb in the USSR.
So, the plot of the picture will unfold around the Soviet spy Frans Hartman, played by Gela Meskhi, who needs to find out all the details of the developments of the Nazis engaged in the atomic bomb behind enemy lines. At the same time, the scientist Igor Kurchatov, in whom Yegor Beroev will reincarnate, devotes all his time to the Soviet bomb and must quickly move from theoretical research to experiments in order to get ahead of the enemies.
The director of the project will be Evgeny Lavrentiev. According to him, the film will be dedicated to the creation of the Soviet “nuclear shield” and will become a kind of spin-off of “Seventeen Moments of Spring”, because the action will take place at the same time and in the same place.

Discussing the future project, they noted that the idea looks very secondary, because over the years many films have been released on a similar topic.
