Much of the programming of “Tovía nun ye San Xuan” This weekend it is centered in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, where a tent has been set up so that all appointments can take place normally despite the possible rain. Music will be the protagonist in this space in which Cristina Montull Trío, Sofía and Fruela will perform today and tomorrow will host Pingarates, a meeting that will value the use of Asturian tradition by various groups with extensive experience and different musical styles through the reworking of traditional themes. An outstanding appointment within this alternative cultural program.
But the activities of this weekend do not remain only in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and, in this sense, children and families have an appointment with the theater tomorrow Sunday, at 6 pm, in the Auditorium Teodoro Cuesta, where Kamante Teatro will put on on stage the play “Con capital M”. The story of two turtles who decide to share their lives, happily in a pond, until one of them decides to think for both of them. From that moment on we will find a series of daily situations approached in a humorous way in which issues such as isolation or possessive love are addressed. A story of freedom, equality and hats inspired by Adela Turin’s text “Arturo y Clementina”. The ticket, with a price of 5 euros, can be reserved at the concierge of the House of Culture or by calling 985 45 19 53.
“Tovía nun ye San Xuan” keep going with activities for all tastes and ages. All the information about each appointment can be consulted in the agenda of the municipal website www.mieres.es.
