The family makes jewels with the ashes of Coolio – VG

“Gangsta’s Paradise” rapper Coolio died on September 28, just before going to Norway. Now his ashes will be distributed to those closest to him.

TMZ he writes that the cremation has taken place and that the seven sons of Coolio are now making necklaces with their father’s ashes inside.

A spokesperson for the late artist confirms to the website that each of the children will receive a pendant with ashes and a chain. Children will be able to choose the inscription for the jewels themselves.

Some other close relatives will also receive a specially made necklace, the spokesperson says.

The rest of the ashes are placed in an urn.

Coolio, whose original name was Artis Leon Ivey Jr., was 59 years old. He died suddenly in his hometown of Los Angeles.

The veteran of rap was among the artists who would perform at the Telenor Arena in Bærum with the concert “We Love The 90s” on October 21st.
