Chelsea’s forgotten man Billy Gilmour should be wary of a move to Leicester City or West Ham United, former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan told talkSPORT (April 13, 11:00 am).
Around this time last year, a diminutive teenager was taking home the man of the match award after a performance filled with class, composure and maturity during a 4-0 win at Everton.
Much has changed since then, and especially since the last time Gilmour played 90 minutes in a Premier League game there was a sold out crowd cheering him on.

The 19-year-old Scotsman has barely kicked a ball since Frank Lampard was replaced by Thomas Tuchel in west London, once again omitted from the team of the day for Saturday’s 4-1 win at Crystal Palace.
And while it would be easy to suggest that a loan out of Chelsea is exactly what he needs, Jordan isn’t so sure.
After all, West Ham and Leicester are not short of top-notch central midfielders.
“When you go out on loan, it has to be the right place. There’s no guarantee (Gilmour) won’t be in the same place in Leicester, ”Jordan suggests.

“Leicester are a good team. They are established. They are above Chelsea in the league. It might be nice for Brendan Rodgers to have him as part of his squad, but it doesn’t really help Billy Gilmour.
“Billy is still a fabulous player, but he is still a very young player.
“If he is not going to join the Chelsea team, what can you say that he is going to join the Leicester team? What do you mean that you are going to side with West Ham?
West Ham is also on par with Chelsea.
In truth, there is little sign that things will change at Chelsea for the once Rangers kid.
With his contract running through 2022, it is understandable that Tuchel prioritizes the present over the future.
The German’s focus is on racking up as many trophies as he can over the next 14 months or so, and as a result, long-term prospects like Gilmour lag behind the already proven Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic.
