The Ministry of Transport has released images showing the construction and deployment of the Cairo station as part of the first line of the Ain Sukhna / El Alamein / Matrouh high-speed electric train project.
Cairo station is located in the Helwan region and serves the city of Helwan, the city of May 15th and the entire area south of Cairo which is east of the Nile.
The length of the first line of the electric express train (Ain Sukhna – El Alamein – Matrouh – Fayoum) is 660 km and includes 22 stations.
