Ukraine could use Western-supplied drones or its own developments to hit the Sevastopol Bay. Even the most primitive drone, such as the Shahed 136, can reach Moscow.
Military expert Yury Fyodorov said this in a conversation with Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin, UNIAN reports.
“Moscow has forgotten the Old Testament principles: ‘An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth'”. In my opinion, there are two very interesting points in this story about the Sevastopol strike. The first is what kind of drones carried out the strike.
The announcement by the Russian Defense Ministry detected nine unmanned aircraft and seven seafarers. The drones supplied to Ukraine by the United States are called the Switch Blade 600 and are kamikaze drones, with roughly the same purpose as the Shahed 136.
It simply falls together with the explosives, it does not throw ammunition, but with the explosives it falls on the targets and destroys them “, observes the expert.
At the same time, he reminds that Ukraine can attack the territory of Crimea, as restrictions on the use of weapons by Western partners do not apply to the occupied territories. Furthermore, he believes that the Ukrainian military could have used a Ukrainian-made drone.
“The most complicated thing in a drone is the guidance system. In Kharkiv there is a very good center for the development of guidance systems, which supplies practically all Soviet missiles. The technology is preserved there, the intellectual potential is preserved, that is, people who know how to do everything, do everything.
Regarding system maintenance, Ukraine has the potential to develop and build control units. In this way 40-50 kilograms of explosives can be delivered over a fairly long distance.
An unmanned aircraft, even the primitive Shahed 136, whose technical-tactical data indicates a range of 1,000-1,500 kilometers, can reach Moscow, ”explains Fedorov.
According to him, even an amateur can load a destination map into the drone, so anything is possible.
