The formation of Emmanuel Rassouw, already victorious 3-2 in the first leg, took the opportunity to double their victim of the day in the standings and return to the first part of the table, in 2nd place with Rouen and Jura Morez. All this thanks to an excellent performance from each of the three players lined up.
From the outset, Vitor Ishiy, very solid in the exchange, tamed the experienced Chen Tian Yuan, despite a second set abandoned to the advantages after six 1-1 balls saved. In the aftermath, crazy slugger Bence Majoros got the better of Iranian Nima Alamian in three contested sets. Finally, Horacio Cifuentes brilliantly defeated left-hander Léo De Nodrest, who woke up at 2-0, with some beautiful points.
