The ex-coach of the “Star Academy”, Armande Altaï, says she is haunted by a ghost and not just any ghost: “She leaned over the bed, lifted the sheets and…”

We remember his techniques recommended to students at the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. Tips given to Jean-Pascal Lacoste, Jenifer, or even Nolwenn Leroy. But also of its particular style which makes it unique. There “Star Academy” is nothing without Armande Altaï and yet, the latest edition of the telecrochet of TF1 has done without her in 2022. Many dream of seeing her reprise her role as vocal coach on the Channel One show, but that doesn’t seem to be in the production plans.

This does not prevent him from going about his business and giving news from time to time. Moreover, a portrait of the 78-year-old artist will soon be screened in dark rooms. Entitled “A portrait of Armande Altai”directed by Anna Medveczky will indeed be broadcast at the Saint-André-des-Arts cinema in Paris as our colleagues from Paris-Match. On this occasion, our colleagues went to meet to try to find out more about the personality of the ex-vocal coach of the “Star Academy”. This one delivered without make-up, and even returned to a strange anecdote.

Armande Altaï and the ghost of her grandmother

Especially the time a ghost came to visit her, her mother, and the rest of her family. “One morning my mother woke up troubled, a little shaky, completely distraught”she recalls at first before continuing: “We weren’t used to seeing her like that because she was a severe woman. She wasn’t a sissy and then all of a sudden we saw her lost and she told us a funny story “She said to us ‘your grandmother came last night. She really came. She was there in black and she said to me in Turkish: Semya, I don’t know your children'”reports Armande Altai.

She then explains that her grandmother would have “leaning over the bed of each of us and with the end of her black umbrella she lifted the sheets to see our faces”. She would then “taken [sa] mother in her arms and she left”. Not convinced by her mother’s story, Armande Altaï then explained to her that a “nightmare” would be the reason for this vision. But at the end of the day, when he returned home, the 78-year-old artist saw on the table “a telegram surrounded by grey”. “I have just been informed that my mother died last night”then lets go of his mother. “There, I had a little moment of rocking”she finally admitted still troubled by this event.
