Technologue.id, JakartaApple announced that their annual event, the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), will be held on a hybrid basis from June 5 to 9, 2023. The developer and students also had the opportunity to celebrate the grand opening in person at Apple Park.

Like previous WWDCs, this year’s event will showcase the latest advancements from iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. Apple fans are also expecting the AR/VR headsets being developed by Apple, the Mac Pro and the 15-inch MacBook Air at the WWDC23 series of events.

According to Apple’s press release on their official website, Susan Prescott, Vice President of the Worldwide Developer Relations Division at Apple, stated that Apple is ready to welcome audiences at this year’s WWDC.

“WWDC is one of our favorite moments every year because through this event we have the opportunity to connect with developer talent from around the world who make this community so amazing,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s VP of Worldwide Developer Relations. “WWDC23 is going to be the biggest and most exciting event we’ve ever hosted, and we can’t wait to see you all online and live at this special event!”

For students, WWDC23 presents the Swift Student Challenge event, one of many Apple programs aimed at improving students’ abilities developer and learners of all ages who love programming.

With the help of Swift Playgrounds, an innovative app for iPad and Mac that makes learning the Swift programming language interactive and fun, students from all over the world are invited to create playground apps from topics of their choice. Registration for this year’s Swift Student Challenge is now open, and students can submit their work until Wednesday, April 19, 2023, 11:59 p.m. PDT (Thursday, April 20, 2023, 1:59 p.m. WIB).
