Examining the situation, the Court of Appeal decided that the occupant operator should leave Galatasaray Island as soon as possible.
Galatasaray Vice President Rezan Epözdemir made a statement to Habertürk on the subject and said:
“The court decision regarding the eviction of Galatasaray Island was appealed by the tenant on April 12. As soon as he took office, a serious scientific and academic study was carried out with our President and our board of directors on the island case and its legal processes, and the request to take it forward in this context was not made. As a result of these legal efforts, within a period of 6 months, on December 2, the court of appeal made a decision of rejection on the merits and the decision to postpone the execution was lifted. Good luck to all Galatasaray fans.”
