LADISPOLI – «Music is the best tool to allow children and young people with even serious disabilities to integrate and have the right approach to musical instruments». Thus the councilor for social policies, Gabriele Fargnoli, commented on the participation of the Euterpe APS Association, recognized for its commitment to research and promotion of music therapy, at the eighth International Conference on Neurology and Cerebral Disorders which will be held in Tokyo from 21 to 22 October 2024. «The Grando administration – underlined Fargnoli – has always proven to be extremely sensitive to the promotion of social inclusion. Music therapy with the Euterpe Method has made it possible to consolidate and spread innovative practices, thus strengthening the links between scientific research and social well-being.” The congress, centered on the theme “Exploring frontiers in neurology: from research to rehabilitation”, represents an important opportunity for the exchange of scientific and methodological advances in the field of neurology, with a focus on brain disorders, neuropsychiatry, Alzheimer’s, depression and neurological rehabilitation. Among the notable speakers, the researchers of the Euterpe APS Association, the master Dr. Tommaso Liuzzi and Maestro Fiammetta D’Arienzo will present the results of their recent study published in the prestigious scientific journal Frontiers in Neurology (doi: 10.3389/fneur.2024.1388712). The research highlights the effectiveness of the Euterpe Method in the rehabilitation context, showing significant benefits on fundamental parameters of the child’s development, such as sleep regulation, emotion management and improvement of the quality of family life.
