/ world today news/ Eurozone finance ministers agreed to extend Greece’s financial aid program by 4 months, overcoming Germany’s objections, diplomatic sources said.
“There is an agreement,” an EU source said, while European Commissioner Valdi Dombrovskis tweeted: “The program to extend Greece’s aid can continue. It is important that Greece honors its commitments and presents a detailed list of reform measures.”
In turn, Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem said that Greece has confirmed that it will carry out structural reforms and has undertaken to refrain from unilateral actions.
We remind you that earlier today it was announced that the Eurozone and Greece have reached an agreement in principle, while continuing to negotiate on individual provisions and details of the agreement.
