Aden Golan receives support from a former Eurovision star – who expresses unreserved support: Manuela Bravo, the Portuguese singer who represented Portugal in Eurovision 1979. In a post she published on her Facebook account today (Friday) she wrote:After an excellent performance in the second semi-finalEden Golan rises in the stakes and comes in second place, despite the boos, despite the attempts of anti-Semites to silence her, despite everything… Go, girl, go!”.

Bravo is known for its support of Israel, and later in the day it also addressed the behavior of the Greek singer, Marina Satti, during the press conference with Aden Golan: “Pay attention to the disrespectful behavior of the Greek singer while Aden Golan (Israel) spoke at the press conference. Shame!”

Manuela Bravo started her musical career at the age of only 5, in Lisbon. She released her first single at the age of 15, and in 1979 she won a Portuguese singing contest and represented the country at Eurovision with the song “Sobe, sobe, balão sobe”, which finished in ninth place.
