Al-Marsad newspaper – agencies: Czech doctors have invented a drug to treat prostate cancer in its advanced stages and have started using 3D printing in bone transplants.
The idnes.cz website notes that the prostate cancer drug is called Pluvicto.
The European Commission approved its use a few days ago. This medicine is in the form of a solution and is used to treat advanced stages of cancer and is intended for patients who have not been helped by other forms of treatment.
According to the site, Pluvicto was administered to patients for the first time as part of clinical trials at the Department of Nuclear Medicine of Olomouc University Hospital in the northeastern Czech Republic. However, the site did not mention when mass production of this drug will begin, to be available to patients.
