The Europe Conference (formerly Eastern Europe Annual Meeting), which takes place every 2 years, arose from the need to maintain and maintain contact with former students (alumni) from Eastern and South-Eastern Europe and Germany and to exchange information on subject-specific questions in forums, symposia and lectures. The technical focal points of the meetings are selected on the background of personal, current experiences from the practice of social work, which are expressed and reflected in scientific contributions.
In recent years, the events have been funded by the Dresden State Directorate, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Diakonisches Werk of the EKD and funds from the Lifelong Learning Program of the European Commission.
Thank you for this important support!
The organization of the Europe Conference is in the hands of a preparatory group made up of committed students and lecturers from ehs Dresden, members of Grenzgänger eV, the practical department and the international office.
