“The Euro and Bullion Drawer Pre-Trial Proceedings Terminated, Confirms Chief Prosecutor”

The pre-trial proceedings for the euro and bullion drawers have been terminated. This was first confirmed to BNT by the chief prosecutor Ivan Geshev.

The chief prosecutor added that he learned the information from “Bivol”.

“The criminal proceedings were terminated on May 10, and at that time the chief prosecutor was Borislav Sarafov, I was in the United States, in Washington. The case is under special supervision. Instructions have been given to carry out official control over the decree by the Supreme Cassation Prosecutor’s Office. This collapses the myth of the all-powerful and strong chief prosecutor,” added Ivan Geshev.

He added that all Bulgarian magistrates act according to the Constitution, laws and facts.

“The prosecutor’s office has established a system for official control”, Ivan Geshev also said.
