Alongside Olivier L’Hostis, owner of the establishment, and in the presence of two elected members of the Consular Chamber, Daniel Germain and Rudy Carnis, Michel Guerton recalled the interest of this campaign which is aimed at merchants for the long term. support them: “It is available through timeless communication around posters in the city centers of the department to enhance the shops and the important link between consumers and traders. The revival hoped for all over the world is there, too. So, we decided to open the Fédébon operation, reserved for departmental companies, to widen it to individuals. Now, Eurelians will be able to order Fédébon checks to offer them to their children, families and friends. “

Supported economic recovery
Olivier L’Hostis acknowledges that the action taken by the CCI28 comes at the right time: “Since May 11, the start date of the deconfinement, we have seen our daily turnover increase by 30%. Consumers are back and we hope so for a long time to limit the economic damage of this crisis. The opening of the café terraces is also good news. The city center needs this mobilization to regain its dynamism. We are ready to be depositaries of Fédébon checks to support their dissemination in the commercial circuits of our territory. I hope that other European traders can do the same for the good of all. “
Rudy Carnis, in charge of Gourmet Week, planned for October, hopes to double the number of participating restaurateurs and spread the event over fifteen days for the same reasons of support for local trade.

Extension of the Fédébon system
The Fédébon system has been in existence since 2010 and its principle is to buy vouchers from Eurelian companies to distribute to employees for local shops. “More than 7.2 million euros have been spent in our businesses since 2010. In addition, 720 businesses have benefited from this system in Eure-et-Loir,” said Michel Guerton, president of the CCI28.
