“I am not satisfied with the current pace of distribution of migrants. To date, out of 160,000 migrants, only 130 have been distributed. If we continue in the same way, we will end the resettlement on January 1, 2101,” he stressed at a press conference in Valletta after the end of the EU-Africa meeting.
The EU agreed in September a mechanism for the transfer among member states of 160,000 migrants who arrived in Greece and Italy. But since not all countries are ready to accept refugees, the process is very slow. /TASS
