The EU and Britain intend to boycott the speeches of the Russian delegation at the G-20 meeting, which will be held on the island of Bali in Indonesia on November 15 and 16, reported the Guardian.

A representative of the EU’s external relations office told the newspaper that the international community wanted to show what it thinks of “all these crimes, atrocities and illegal actions by Russia”. This means convincing the international community of meetings with Sergey Lavrov or other members of the Russian delegation. We will ask people to leave the room when Russia speaks, the representative added.

As is known, Putin will not go to Indonesia. The Russian delegation will be led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The sides will call on Russia to end the war, noting that the talks must take place on terms acceptable to Ukraine.

“The war in Ukraine will be the focus of the Bali meeting. There is the possibility of sending a message of peace. A coalition will be formed there and Russia will be isolated,” says a source in the French president’s administration.

“It is not the time for war, but we understood that nothing should be done without Ukraine. Ukraine has to decide when it wants to negotiate,” says the French official. There are fears that China and Russia will move to develop a joint statement at the G20 meeting calling for a de-escalation.

At the same time, Italy, Germany, Spain and France are likely to maintain Russia’s isolation, China is not. India and Saudi Arabia have not joined Western sanctions against Moscow, and Turkey has taken on the role of mediator between Moscow and Kiev, Sega reported.
