The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has released its rating review for the upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw Repop, shedding light on the level of violence, sexual content and strong language players can expect from this remaster. The game, which will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series, has reached maturity due to its graphic content and mature themes.
Lollipop Chainsaw Repop puts players in the shoes of Juliet Starling, a cheerleader who takes on the role of a zombie hunter as she tries to find the cause of a widespread zombie outbreak. Gameplay features frantic hand-to-hand combat in which players use chainsaws, explosive rounds, and perform special attacks such as imitating cheerleaders and destroying zombies with chops . Combat is characterized by exaggerated blood splatter, frequent movements and decapitations, often enhanced by slow motion effects and camera close-ups, adding to the over-the-top violence of the game.
