The escape room converted from a railway car is inaugurated in Kápolnásnyék (video)

The final touches have also been made, and the transformation of the steam locomotive and railway car, manufactured at the end of the 1800s and considered a protected industrial monument, into an escape room has been completed. The large-scale project of the Velencei-tavi Kistérségért Foundation was completed by connecting a contemporary coal car, which was attached to the locomotive in recent weeks, by extending the tracks. Thanks to two years of persistent work, we managed to obtain an original 326 steam-drawn service car for the full implementation of the ideas.

The undisclosed purpose of the escape room is to be able to offer visitors to the Lake of Venice a decisive, experiential program outside the tourist season. The ceremonial inauguration will take place on September 15 at 3 p.m. in the park of the Fisherman’s Castle. The tourist attraction will be inaugurated by Márton Domonkos Schneller, director-general of the Hungarian Technical and Transport Museum, and the welcome will be given by László L. Simon, director-general of the Hungarian National Museum, founder of the Velencei-tavi Kistérségért Foundation, and Viktor Kazai, president of the Foundation.
