Shikabala’s statement was welcomed by the club’s fans, who demanded that he continue to respond strongly to Mortada Mansour.
Mortada Mansour, the former president of the Zamalek club, had strongly attacked Shikabala and accused him explicitly of inciting the players to boycott the training, due to the demand for late financial dues, considering the behavior inappropriate for a captain of the team, stressing that he did not try to force the Colombian coach Osorio, the coach of Zamalek, to exclude Shikabala from Participation in official matches.
