The number of auto insurance policies at Nexible will be gradually reduced.

Digital insurer Nexible wants to focus on the travel and health market in the future. The subsidiary Ergo stops the auto insurance business.

Digital insurer Nexible only started offering auto insurance five years ago. However, the new activities in Germany and Austria will have to be suspended as early as the 2022/2023 format change season. The number of auto insurance policies at Nexible will be gradually reduced. “We continue to offer our existing Nexible customers in the automotive industry comprehensive digital customer service and complaints. In the event of significant changes, we will notify our customers at an early stage. Nexible’s realignment has no impact on Ergo’s automotive business.

As part of a strategic reorientation, Nexible has decided to further develop its business model. According to its own statements, Nexible will in the future focus on innovative offers for digitally savvy target groups in the travel and health insurance market. “We see strong growth and earning potential in these market segments. The excellent experience with the travel insurance product introduced by Nexible last year confirms this approach, “said a spokesperson for the company.
