The Era of Unipolar World Has Ended Despite Various Efforts to Preserve It

MOSCOW – Russian President Vladimir Putin declared the unipolar world was ending despite all the beneficiaries trying to preserve it at all costs.

Putin emphasized the statement when speaking at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday (17/6/2022).

President Putin added that after the end of the Cold War, the United States (US) declared its national interests “sacred” and should not be undermined.

Putin delivered a speech at the SPIEF annual business forum in St Petersburg dedicated to the future of Russia and the rest of the world after renewed pressure from western sanctions against Moscow.

He went on to emphasize that the so-called “golden billion” countries still believe they are superior and regard the rest of the world as their colony.

He added that Western ruling elites live in a dream world and refuse to see global change happening.
