Ministry of Health maps with monitoring indicators have been updated. The reproduction rate has reached a red stadium in 4 regions : Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Occitanie, New Aquitaine and Center-Val de Loire.

Alone Brittany and Corsica are in green. The rest of mainland France remains in orange. This evolution of “R0“seems worrying: a week earlier, only the PACA and Corsica were in the red.

The departmental map of incidence rate (number of patients screened per 100,000 inhabitants), also continues to worsen. In one week, 16 additional departments were classified in orange, for a total of 47.

Between Wednesday August 18 and Thursday August 20, 4,771 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed by Public Health France. A total of 266 clusters are active in the territory, 33 of which have been identified in the past 24 hours. Only 380 patients are still in intensive care (-4).

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

On the latest maps from the Ministry of Health, the entireAuvergne-Rhône-Alpes is in orange for its “R0”, from 1.2 to 14 August. This means that ten patients infect an average of 12 people: the epidemic is progressing.

As of August 15, the region has six departments out of twelve in orange for its incidence rate, the number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants. This concerns the Loire (15 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), Isere (13 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), l’Ain (14 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Rhône (29 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Haute-Savoie (20 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) and Ardèche (10 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).

Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

On the latest maps from the Ministry of Health, the Bourgogne-Franche-Comte is in orange with an “R0” of 1,3 : 10 patients infect an average of 13 people.

Only two departments are in orange for their incidence rate. It’s about Doubs (13 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) and the Haute-Saone (12 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).

Brittany

On the latest maps from the Ministry of Health, the Brittany is green, its “R0” is only 1.0. L’Ille-et-Vilaine is in orange for its incidence rate (14 cases per 100,000 inhabitants). The Finistère is the second department in orange with the same incidence rate (14 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).

Center-Val-de-Loire

The Pays de la Loire see red, with an “R0” of 1.6, on the latest maps from the Ministry of Health.

Four departments are in orange this week for their incidence rate, Loiret with 37 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. This rate is 15 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. in Indre-et-Loire, 11 in the Loir-et-Cher and 18 en Eure-et-Loir.

Corsica

Corsica is one of only two regions classified as green for its reproduction rate, up to 0.94. The island is also a good student in terms of incidence rate, Southern Corsica accounts for 3.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the Haute-Corse, 5.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Great East

Like many regions of France, the Great East is orange with an “R0” of 1.2. On the other hand, 7 departments out of 10 are in orange for their incidence rate: the Haut-Rhin (11 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), Vosges (13 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Meurthe-et-Moselle (14 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Bas-Rhin (13 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Moselle (13 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Marne (13 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) and dawn (12 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).

Hauts-de-France

The Hauts-de-France remain in orange with an “R0” of 1.1. The Pas-de-Calais and Oise join the North in orange with respectively 10 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and 12 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The North, he reached 29 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Ile-de-France

L’Ile-de-France varies between red and orange for the incidence rate. Paris (81 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), Seine-Saint-Denis (51 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) and the Val-de-Marne (54 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) are classified red.

Seine-et-Marne (27 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), Essonne (35 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Yvelines (28 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Hauts-de-Seine (43 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) and the Val-d’Oise (33 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) remain classified in orange.

The “R0” of the Île-de-France is 1.3. The region is therefore classified orange.

Normandie

The Normandie is classified in orange this week for its “R0”. The region is doing well in terms of incidence rate, only one department is classified orange, l’Orne, with 11 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

New Aquitaine

The New Aquitaine exceeded the red alert threshold with an “R0” of 1.6. Three departments are classified in orange for their incidence rate: the Gironde (18 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), Pyrénées-Atlantiques (14 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) and finally the Creuse (20 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).

Occitanie

L’Occitanie is one of the regions classified in red for their reproduction rate.

A good part of the departments are also classified in orange for the incidence rate, namely theAude (12 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Gard (28 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Haute-Garonne (38 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), the Gers (12 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), Herault (case per 100,000 inhabitants), Hautes-Pyrenees (14 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) and the Tarn (20 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).

Pays de la Loire

The Loire Country remain in orange, with an “R0” of 1.0. The incidence rate is variable: the Sarthe is classified in red (52 cases per 100,000 inhabitants). Provence-Alpes-Côtes-d’Azur

The Provence-Alpes-Côtes-d’Azur once again remains in red for its “R0”, which stands at 1.6. On average, 10 patients infect 16 people.

The Bouches-du-Rhône and the Alpes-Maritimes turn red, with incidence rates of 84 and 53, respectively.
